OLANESTI RIVIERA S.A.
It was established in 1990 by the Government Decision no. 1041/1990 and is the predecessor of the Olanesti State Healthcare Established in 1945.
The company operates in Baile Olanesti resort, a spa resort of permanent interest, being the concessionaire of over 30 mineral springs and 5 mineral water therapy wells. The locality is documented in a letter from July 19, 1527, and the first documents with water analyzes in the area appear between 1829-1830. The presence of mineral waters has been signaled since 1760 and their special qualities were recognized in 1873 when the mineral waters of Olanesti are sent to the International Exhibition in Vienna, where they get the gold medal.
According to Dr. C Michailescu's "Scientific Reports" made in medical hydrology and climatology from 1920 to 1931, it follows that: "The constituents of the Olanesti waters are in an ever unstable equilibrium of combinations, decompositions and recombination of electrolytes, which made them to be considered true Living Waters and when we take them from the spring, put them in bottles and use them for a longer or less time, then we take them out of their natural environment in who live and after some, use only their body "
The studies of the Olanesti waters began between 1873 and 1931, by Col. Dr. Zorileanu, Dr. Al Soalener - Tuduri, associate professor Dr. Michailescu, Prof. Theohari from the University Balneology Institute, Dr. Puturianu, Dr. Vicol (page 20) from the Scientific Report - Medical Paper.
